TraceDrawer is offered as an optional software package for SPR Navi™. TraceDrawer is a software tool for data handling and analysis for kinetics of biological reactions. TraceDrawer is made to help scientists to evaluate, summarize and report results from real-time interaction experiments. Another option for advanced analysis is Scrubber2.
Collect Data
TraceDrawer can load result files from different instruments, experiments and operators and can store all loaded data in one file. This is a powerful way to keep track of all results in a project.
Affinity measurements and EC50 determinations are important in biophysical characterization. TraceDrawer can estimate Kd and EC50 based on non-linear fits to loaded data.
How fast and how strong is the interaction? Kinetic analysis is one of the most powerful methods for the characterization of molecular interactions. In TraceDrawer, multiple interactions can be fitted to loaded data. The fitting engine supports multiple data-sets, global fitting, mass transport limitation, and ligand depletion.
Create an overlay plot item, and drop the data you want to compare. A number of curve manipulation tools are available to make the comparisons meaningful: move, scale, normalize, subtract, split... It is also possible to extract signal values from the curves.
Reports made in TraceDrawer are based on the graph from any item (run, overlay plot, evaluation or summary). The graph, the accompanying description and tables with curve identification are neatly printed on a single page. Easy access to results is a key for making decisions. The report tools is a quick way to make presentations of real-time results.
In TraceDrawer, you can change the fonts to match the requirements of the journal and add arrows and texts to enhance understanding. By using the figure export tool, you can set the resolution of the figure and save it in format accepted by most journals. This makes tedious figure post-processing in image editors unnecessary.
