All flow-cells can be easily exchanged by the user. All flow-cells enable measurements in air and in liquid, but only gas flow-cell enables measurements with pressurized gas.

SPR321-EC

ELECTROCHEMISTRY FLOW-CELL

  • SPR slide acts as working electrode
  • Two insulated hollow tubes for counter and reference electrodes
  • Slide replacement with easy quick-lock mechanism
  • The whole assembly of the SPR slide can be kept under liquid to avoid contact with air!
  • Top of the cuvette is open for pipeting enabling the change of the analyte!
  • By utilizing the built-in two channel peristaltic pump, a continuous liquid flow through the cuvette can be arranged.

Highlights:

  • EC working electrode: SPR sensor surface (e.g. Au)
  • EC counterelectrode and reference electrode: easily exchangable wire e.g. Pt, Ag/AgCl, and others

Modes:

  • SPR and EC measurements in parallel (increase in accuracy compared to separate measurement set-up)
  • EC used as a stimuli

Why SPR Navi for EC measurements?

MP-SPR Navi is especially useful for metals and other highly absorbing materials, which have a non-linear SPR response, because SPR Navi is based on a Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance technique (MP-SPR) and measures the full SPR curve and not just a sensogram.

For harsh chemicals, we offer a flow cell made of Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and Kalrez. Flow-cell forms one fluidic channel over the sensor surface. Channel has volume of 100 µL.

GAS FLOW-CELL

With MP-SPR, it is possible to measure in gas (air) and in liquid also with other flow-cells. The gas flow-cell is required for applications, where gas is pressurized. Only low-pressure applications are possible with standard gas flow-cell. The gas flow-cell does not include a gas mixing station.

A flow-cell recommended for material sciences. The standard flow cell supplied with SPR Navi 210A instrument is made of high chemical resistance material Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and contains large inlet diameter. The flow-cell forms two fluidic channels over the sensor surface. Each channel has volume of 1 µl.

A flow-cell with small inlet diameter for fast kinetic studies. The flow-cell forms two fluidic channels over the sensor surface. Each channel has volume of 1 µL.

MP-SPR Navi™ Immobilizer

It is an especially designed stand-alone holder for chemical modifications and functionalization of the MP-SPR Navi™sensor slide surfaces. MP-SPR Navi™ Immobilizer is compatible with the MP-SPR Navi™ sensor slides and MP-SPR Navi™ sensor slide holder.

The immobilizer enables ex-situ immobilization with 10x minimized reagent consumption. After immobilization, only the channel area is covered with the reagents. (Whole sensor slide area is 240 mm2, while two channels area is roughly 24 mm2).
