MP-SPR Navi™ 400 KONTIO 


Semi-automateand modular

MP-SPR NaviTM 400 KONTIO is specially designed to measure cell adhesion and cell-based interactions in physiologically relevant conditions. The instrument is compatible with complex cell culture media and other crude samples.

Features and benefits:

  • 4-channel flow-cell for  simultaneous  measurements. 400 KONTIO can have two independent  wavelength  measurements  from  each channel, enabling detection of thickness and refractive index,  conformation changes and cellular interactions.

  • Exceptionally  wide  angular  range 40˚ - 78˚C enables  measurements with complex cell culture media and other crude samples like serum and saliva. Cells can be directly cultured over sensor slide surface or the sensor surface is modified and cells are introduced as a sample.

  • Controlled liquid flow conditions with peristaltic pump

  • Manual filling of injection loops required

  • Parallel  or serial injections into  flow channels

 

  • 400 KONTIO is provided with a basic software package of MP-SPR Navi™ Control and DataViewer for convenient control of the instrument and basic analysis of the results. Advanced analysis modules are optional: MP-SPR Navi™ LayerSolver™ to determine thickness and refractive index from multiple wavelength measurements and TraceDrawer™ for  MP-SPR  Navi™ is a powerful  software  for  determination  of affinity and  kinetic constants and more.

  • MP-SPR Navi™ instruments utilize optical RI matching elastomer and therefore sensors are very easy to exchange. They can also be further analyzed with other methods, such as AFM or microscopy.

  • Open design enables convenient access to the easily removable flow-cell, as well as to tubing, pump and injection valve.

  • Complement the instrument with electrochemistry, high chemical resistant and gas flow-cells as well as fluorescence setup to obtain simultaneous validation measurements.

  • The instrument enables attachment of a separate autosampler, pump, degasser or even own microfluidic sample pre-processing cartridge.


400 OTSO is designed and manufactured in Finland. Its name comes from vast Finnish forests and means a bear.
