APPLICATIONS

All.jpg

SPR Navi™ instruments expand the traditional SPR application areas from biomolecular interactions in life sciences to new applications in material science and sensor development. With the addition of another laser pair into the system, SPR Navi™ can measure on a number of samples and in conditions, others cannot.

All application notes can be found here. Some examples of research publications can be found here. If you cannot find your specific question here, please, do contact us about feasibility studies.

DNA.jpgLife Sciences

  • What is the affinity and on- and off-rates for molecule X interacting with protein Y?
  • How much protein Y does this serum sample contain?
  • Can I quantify it without pre-cleaning?
  • Can I measure quantitatively gas X from air samples?
  • How does this surface/analyte interaction change when the electrical potential is changed?
  • How does this electrochemical reaction proceed with different potentials/concentrations?
  • What are the kinetics of the reaction?

Material Science

  • How does this polyelectrolyte multilayer grow?
  • Is it linear or exponential growth?
  • How thick are the layers?
  • What are the optical properties of this layer?
  • How does this surface coating react to different moisture contents in air?
  • How much of molecule Y does this coating absorb?
  • What about other coatings?

Antibody4.jpgSensor Development

  • Is the biosensor that I have designed working better than the previous one?
  • How does the surface of my biosensor interact with sample X?
  • How fast do the molecules X bind with surface A as compared to surface B?
  • How do the surface properties of my microchannels affect the sample A?
